Google Play has plenty of old-school, atari like games that require a great skill of dexterity. Always fun! Here are a few words about Voxel Invaders, a game like that, by Fabien Chéreau, developer at Noctua Software – guilty for releasing this game ;]

“Voxel Invaders is a game inspired by the classical Space Invaders
where the goal is to destroy waves of aliens invading our solar
system. Voxel Invaders is the sequel to Retrocosmos, the game released
in 2011 by the same team of two French developers. Ii is based on the
same concept: a retro-style arcade game with a fun gameplay and ultra
simplified single-finger controls. However in Voxel Invaders all the
graphics have been created based on 3D models constructed from
hundreds of voxels (the 3D equivalent of a pixel), which gives the
game a really unique visual style that oscillate between classical 2D
retro and modern 3D. The game also features a lot of improvements
compared to the previous version: much more stages (more than 160),
many enemies and weapons and more varied gameplay.

“Voxel Invaders” is compatible with all phones and tablets running
android 2.3 (Gingerbread) or newer which support Opengl ES2.
